I was under the impression it's quite lucrative for the FA's as the commissions can be quite high.

My in flight duty free expenditure seems to be directly linked to my alcohol consumption. :p

Now where is that night vision gadget..........?

Mine seems to be linked to how bored I am, like watching very late night tv infomercials.

My on board duty free purchases are roughly in proportion to the amount of service recovery vouchers the FAs manage to hand out.

Last year Mrs. Bolt and I received $300SGD inflight vouchers on SQ due to or Y+ seats not being available on a flight from PVG-SIN. Came in very handy...

No not at all, many years ago it was a hobby; still have them displayed in my second "den". Many are collectors items as the main producer Schaback went out of business a while back. they used to make them for many airlines often in multipacks of up to 6. plane1.jpgplane2.jpgplane3.jpg

Few carriers in the images can be identified,,,QF, SQ, JL, Swiss, Continental (gone), Air Pacific (new name)
