I just realised I have done 20 flights since the start of the financial year. No wonder I am so tired and grumpy.

That's a little crazy given we are only 44 days in to FY17. I am floating close to a flight every second day.

At least this week is currently planned as only 3 segments.

Can you do a few in my name and get me some SC?

Good luck!

Thanks. Good luck with your interview.
I'm just about 99.9% certain they won't want to interview me. But I'm qualified and it's a bit of a dream job, so have to apply

That is a must!

Social media is frequently screened as part of the referencing procedure these days prior to a Job offer, and apparently 30% of candidates fail at the referencing stage due to undesirable posts discovered on the candidates social media pages.

I know they can get around these things but there is very little that I post to the world, mostly friends or subgroups only. Just deleting those world wide posts now.

No more weekly commute???

Well that depends... ;) Will have to work out details. But If they don't interview me then the commute will continue. one bridge at a time.

Just applied for a job. Don't think I'll even get an interview.
But working to sanitise facebook at the moment.

I find googling your own name in quotations helps track down all mentions of one self. Funny how many rants you can find directed at WW.

Great tip. Qantas search doesn't find my Facebook profile. Adding a city and there are 2 work related hits in the top 5.

Had my car broken into outside my house last night.
August is really sucking right now.

So many status credits in so short a time...

I am assuming (hoping) the flights weren't on Deathstar...

I'd like to think one of the better pieces of advice I gave my god son when he was 16, and just got onto Facebook (this was ?6 or so years ago) was to be careful of what was posted, who he linked to etc for this very reason. Even though I was obviously a silly old cought, I believe he took it to heart.

640SC - all booked as domestic economy on QF.

You have been busy.

I just flew to Melbourne and back on Qantas business, down Saturday back Sunday. The 2 hours to go to and from Gold Coast airport just to save money is hard work, a DSC offer from a few months the 3 flights will be half way to keeping QF Gold for this membership year. I am not likely to start traveling like our good friend penegal so I need every SC I can get.

We have Navman on our two cars so if they get stolen we know where they have gone and where they stopped during the theft period. With a bit of luck they go home to pick up friends for a joy ride.

Can GPS units be tracked? Not sure our (admittedly old) TomTom has such a feature.

I know that there are cheap solutions out there where you can put tracking devices in your car so that if you want to know where the car is, you can activate software somewhere else to track it.

Naturally, all bets are off if the thieves are cunning enough to find and trash/discard any tracking devices in or on the car.
