I was impressed with the reviews on the Heathcote Estate Shiraz, so have placed an order for half a doz.

Has anyone tried this yet ?

Kaesler the Bogan 2012 (97 pointer) - $29.99
St Hallett Blackwell 2012 - $27.99 (highly rated - 97 from Halliday, and hard to find these days. Under $30, it's a bargain)
A number of reds from the D'Arenberg stable (Derelict Vineyard 2012 ($17.99), D'Arrys Original ($13.99 as a decent quaffer), Galvo Garage $20.99)

Given the Epiqure 'sale' email that I received earlier, it seems that this isn't a pricing error, but an intended fire sale?

Bogan seems to be re-priced at $49 - at $29 that's a bargain.

Can't see Blackwell 2012 - only 2013?

Yes, 2012 is gone now (I managed to order some this morning). Not even available at St Hallett Cellar door when I popped in a few months ago, so was a good find.

Yes had the 2013 in a restaurant once and also onboard QF J (although can't remember the vintage).

I think the price is fair so I've ordered a case. Extra bonus points means they practically pay you to drink

Yes. The purchase comes up as 'qantas frequent flyer'. Unfortunately I spotted the AMEX promo 15 minutes after I pressed the button on the epiqure order. Rang epiqure to ask if I could cancel (then re-order) and they gave me a flat 'no', stating that orders cannot be cancelled after placement, but before processing, in any circumstances. Would be good if they could put something in their FAQs to this effect!

I don't know whether it will count or not, but with the Amex offers it doesn't usually matter if you register after the relevant transaction as long as it's within the qualifying period.

Nevermind. Just jumped and made purchase before stock sold out or pulled by QF (pricing error?). Some outstanding prices on various wines - some premiums a good 40% lower than Dan Murphys!

yes this Mid-Year Cellar Sale seems to be one of the best from anyone for a while with prices perhaps cheaper than anywhere ever - so hurry up and buy before you miss out

don't know about bogan, but with joseph moda, it's because it's no longer available by the 6pk, only singles (same applies with other wines) - buy joseph sparkling red instead, one of the best around

P1 not mentioned anywhere. Usually when they give something they make sure to let you know about it.
I've only stumbled upon this when logging to epiQure.

Shhhhhhh, my guess is most likely an oversight rather than intentional given the prior Christmas present.

Given the state of their IT, I suspect they do a batch process to grant P1 epicure membership which comes over like a new sub.
