New Flagship Lounges

I was at the AA Flagship lounge at T4 LAX a few weeks ago and the lounge Angel tells me that they too are getting a make over soon.

Quite a decent lounge I thought.

Don't think I've seen it here (could be wrong) but I just noticed that AA mentioned on instagram that they will be opening new Flagship Lounges at DFW, MIA & PHL.

Great news !!! I actually don't mind the LAX Flagship at all. Nice and peaceful

EDIT : This bit sounds promising for the AA Exp's amongst us
"2017, lounge access will be extended to customers booked in Business and First Class on A321T, Trans-Atlantic, Trans-Pacific and deep South American flights"

Great news. Shame about lack of dining service at ORD, but it's understandable (it's only a tinyh lounge). I just spend a lot of time in that lounge :)

The AA flagship lounges traditionally are small, the major reason is that domestic AA EXP members not flying internationally that day or in F (three class trans con) are not allowed to use them so in general they have that comfortable feel to them. Just returned from LA Flagship lounge on AA73 to Sydney and probably the fullest I have seen the lounge and even then there was plenty of space. Also noticed that the food selection was markedly increased, choice of 5 hot meals rather than the 1 or 2 a few months ago. Wonder if they are offering more hot food at ORD, does anyone know?

When QF departed from T4 (do the BNE flights still depart from there?) the lounge would fill up in the evenings and be heaving (to the point of struggling to find anywhere to sit). Still, it's a nicer place to be than the regular AC.

ORD has one of the better buffet options out of the current three I feel (Sushi that's eddible because of departing JAL flights helps). I really like the ORD lounge, with the exception of the hike to get to it (the lounge staff there have been nothing short of sensational to me every visit too).
