terms and conditions for the giftcards do not list prescriptions as excluded. What's more, the section on exchange of goods (5.3) explicitly mentions purchases of prescription items by giftcard, clearly implying that such purchases are possible. So either Priceline Caulfield are breaching the terms of the giftcards by refusing to accept them for prescriptions, or Priceline (the company) is using misleading terms of use.[/
I know, I came home and studied the terms and conditions as well. I think Priceline Caulfield is just being difficult, I may take it up with their manager for clarification. It does say that not all priceline stores accept giftcards so perhaps they can argue that since they are not required to accept the gift cards, they can determine which purchases it will accept them for.
