SQ premium economy class: when from MEL?

Lowly Y here, already planning next year's trip to Europe (May-June 2016). Is it known yet when the new Premium Economy class is to be introduced on MEL-SIN-FCO and LHR-SIN-MEL flights? Any ideas on the likely price point? Mid-way between Y and J?
My linking flights will be BLQ-MRS, and MRS-LHR. Is there anyway to book all the flights as a round-trip ticket (using Star Alliance partners) or is there no option other than multiple one-way tickets?

Looking at fares ex SYD it's not cheap - you're looking at around $3700 IIRC.

Unless you have a specific reason for wanting to fly singapore airlines (to gain status or something), you can find a mixed class (economy to singapore on SQ, then business class from singapore return to Europe on Viet Nam airlines - full flat beds) for around the same total price.

What absolute nonsense. Does SQ believe people who can afford to buy Y+ honestly believe this?

Well, as a long-term Y and prospective Y+ passenger a little more space does sound attractive. But I agree that "unrivalled", "never before seen" and "ultimate"are over the top descriptors. I'd rather they simply set out plainly what distinguishes Y+ from Y without the hyperbole.

Well from my VOVSPOV (Very Own Very Selfish Point Of View) I hope NEVER! Any reduction size of F cabin may be a serious downer to some of us.

Have just last night got off a CX PE flight. Will trip report this weekend.
But the common problem, is the toilet issue, sharing with Economy is a big looser for me. Just doesn't work. We started to use the Business class toilets, but got told to use economy toilets, we were not happy, but some of the ladies just ignored the FA's, and used them any way.
I think the airlines will need to rethink this issue. Because we travelled on both the A330 (no separate toilet), and the B777 also no separate toilet.
But all in all it is worth the money if less than $3500.

The 4-class 77W has a dedicated toilet for PE, as does the 747.

The a330 and 3-class 77W is different - no toilet. But the same as Qantas when it started with PE.

I'm not sure I agree with people continuing to use the business class WCs after being told not to. Looking at seat maps for the 77W (3-class) and A330 - PE pax would actually have to walk through the business cabin to get to the WCs? (as opposed to the WC being at the bulkhead between the two cabins) That's a big no-no in terms of security and privacy.
