JQ to fly the Dreamliner to NZ

I like the dreamliner, doesnt give me a headache like a lot of other planes do. Though I wouldnt want to sit in Y for more than a few hours (though that applies to all planes and airlines to be honest). Pity the flight I want is just a tad $$.

Because the 737's are the right aircraft for those routes that don't require the capacity of a 787/330 or a greater frequency.

Calling a 737 a budget aircraft smacks of ignorance IMHO.

Alright on reflection I agree with you.... budget is not the right word... inferior perhaps?

A 737 from BNE/SYD/MEL to PER is a joke.

A 737 from BNE/SYD/MEL to PER is a joke.

The 737's used to pop up a lot more on these runs prior to the 330's coming along.

Customer comfort I agree, but the economics behind it will probably state otherwise.

Hence why you probably see Jetconnect operating the 737's TT.

No more of a joke than A320/B737s on PER-SIN.
Taking the LAN 787 (3-3-3) SYD-AKL was fine, though I think the pitch is relatively generous.

Happy wandering

Fred

I'll keep an eye out for it. Prefer wide bodies. I don't think I'll end up switching to it preferentially but I'd like to check it out at least once.

LOL..do your homework..i'm sick of 'sweeping'/uniformed comments like this on this site...I actually joined AFF because I thought it would comprise of intelligent posts...seems i'm wrong :(

Useful comments as always

Enlighten us with your insight as to why the cough Jq 787 hard product couldn't possibly be the cause of under utilisation of airframes.

If there was a sale... I wouldn't mind doing a back-to-back MEL-AKL-SYD run to enjoy the F lounge and pickup some duty free :p
