Booking First class Award flights with QF

beds on the A380 in F much more comfortable than either the 747 F or the Mrk 2 in J. Each to their own of course and you couldn't say J was uncomfortable, but F is way better IMHO.
Thanks, BC and Fm. F it is then.
2nd problem - Mrs D always likes to hold hands on take-off - no problem on SQ suites (middle seats) but I only see 3 rows in QF F. Presume I can stretch across if we take the right-hand side?

Only if you have very, very long arms. The F seats have a lot of room iand you will not be able to reach across to the other seat.

Is there ANY point in taking the same row? Can we even see each other?
If that is the case we might as well both have window seats. (thinks...... "yeehaw, she can't count my drinks"......)

No, both of you should go for windows. I'd recommend 2A, 3A if you can snag them.

None what so ever. Go for window seats. 2A and 3A are great, or even K seats next to each other. In the A row you'll be on the quiet side of the cabin and can easily join each other on your suite.

You can dine together with one person sitting on the ottoman in the suite. No problem at all because you're both in the same cabin.

I'd say stick with F. It's one of those things you need to do at least once.

Agreed.

I've also just booked my first ever 2 long haul F seats. One on the QF388 then JL on the 77W. To be honest I'm completely happy with J in general but really want to try out F for once (or twice).

Still cheaper than paying for F!

We've elected for 3A and 4A.

Don't really know where to post this but here goes...

Just cancelled 2 F award seats LHR-MEL. Five minutes later I note that they have appeared back in the QF inventory. So, if anyone is looking for a couple of juicy prime time seats on QF, there are two to be had on Aug 24.

Cheers
