This Yalumba Grenache however left me underwhelmed. Surprisingly sweet, mid bodied and lacking complexity and length. Will put the others down and see if they improve with time. Anyone else tried this VM offering?

Anyone who has been through the LAN lounge in Santiago would understand me- am there for a 6 hour stopover in a couple of days - and yet again will feel the pain of having too many wines and too little time
Went to the Langtons Classification wine tasting evening the other night. Had a bunch of delicious wine The '09 Elderton Command, and the Chris Ringland were highlights. The new Yalumba Octavius and Signature vintages are coming in Oct, and they both look good.
In terms of recently ordered stuff - I tried a couple of bottles of Jim Barry's '08 PB recently - drinking well.
I have a 2010 Elderton Command tucked away, hopefully will be a cracker in a decade.
