I couldn't agree more - until I found help on the forum, especially with Re Roo I felt so helpless and if nothing changes with Qantas, I have at least had sympathy and consideration from this forum. Many thanks
You will learn a lot from this forum to make traveling easier - and also that you are not alone in having things go wrong.

Hi Red Roo - I have sent a PM + an amendment. Can you please confirm receipt as I'm not sure if they have been sent:oops:

Thanks x'tine, I have indeed received your messages and will reply ASAP.

To clarify, my activity on AFF isn't to replace existing customer service channels. However I'm always happy to help wherever I can. :)

Oh! Completely lost sight of that fact that we are at opposite ends of the globe:oops::oops: Sweet dreams everyone!

Well I did and the sent box was empty but it would have helped if I had ticked the "save sent items to sent box!" Far too many blushes!

Don't worry I have only just realised that you need to do that and I have been sending messages for years!

Useful to know but I managed to squeeze the required number of extra posts to enable me to PM - although I have to confess, it wasn't an immediate success. I'm still learning. Hopefully, when my current crisis is over I can start to have some fun on the forum

Playing"musical chairs" again - seats changed again to 66 F & G! Any views on this, better or worse that 33j&K?

They are extra leg room seats however the issue with these seats is that is the entrance to the crew rest area located underneath the floor with the emergency exit being located where seat 70D would be. The door to the crew rest area is located in aisle and you will be constantly disturbed by the crew enetering and leaving the rest area through out the trip by way of noise and light pollution.

Oh dear - not good news! Still, it's early days yet, still time for many more moves before the flight - just hope I'm in a good seat when the music stops!

x'tine, we sat in row 66 on a trip a couple of years ago.
Yes we did notice the occasional staff member go through the door, but it did not really disturb us.
In my opinion better than 33J/K. Easier to get in and out as no one reclining in front of you.
Of course you are paying for the extra legroom.

Are you changing or someone in seating changing without your knowledge?

Do seats 66FG actually have any more legroom than 32JK? It looks the same to me.

Looking at the above photo I'd rather be in 32JK.

I was happy with the leg room. (183cm) But then I'm happy with row 1 on Qantas 737s as well, row 66 would have more room that row1/737 in my estimation. I've never experienced row 32 on A380

Row 66 D-G has more room than 32 J K however the door to the crew rest area can be rather bothersome. Have done around 10 flights in row 66 out of more than 75 flights on the A380. I would suggest of you can get 66 D and E that would be a more acceptable option IMHO.
