Followed quickly by Joe Burns maiden Test half century:

Time to pin the ears back and score some serious runs (34 overs left in the day). I bet they declare after tea (not at tea!) leaving the bowlers 15-20 overs at weary opening batsmen

Marsh on 69. So will Smith please the critics by declaring soon, stranding Marsh in the 90s? :)

That will be tea. An interesting comment:

"Tea: Australia picking up some pace this session, collecting 118 off 29 overs. All the top six have gone past 50 now, the fourth time it has happened against India. If Bhuvneshwar concedes one more, all of India's four frontline bowlers will have gone for 100 or more"

I thought this comment before tea yesterday was a classic as well.

"Watto is in that danger period of his innings.... within 2 hours before or after a break."

Not sure if Mitchell Johnson, Nathan Lyon or Ryan Harris would figure above the run scoring of our batsmen I named.

Just reviewing their Tests since Oct 14, Harris wins (as his bowling and batting together outstrips Johnson). Even Lyon has got a 10 wickets/match in this series - Johnson nowhere close.

Send-offs in the news again?

Hey Starc! One wicket doesn't make you a test match bowler.

Swimming over for the day and back for lunch. See we've got 1 wicket but Rahul (88) and Kohli (48) are batting well, however I did see the very difficult chance to Joe Burns which missed his hands, hit his leg and didn't make it all the way to Harris.
