Qantas on your mobile | Qantas - about time too!

Doesn't run at all for me now - just sits there forever with a black screen.
Lots of reviews saying the same thing.
Qantas IT work experience kids strike again maybe?
Great spotting! We did release the new version of the Android app overnight.
This brings the Android app functionality in-line with the iPhone app functionality, so customers with Android phones can have the same day-of-travel experience as iPhone customers.
We are monitoring it closely and looking to resolve any initial issues before the long weekend (NSW).
Believe it or not Red Roo, there are other states outside of NSW that also have a long weekend!!
In fact, it's worth QF remembering that there are other states outside of NSW full stop.

If your phone is "rooted" why not just buy a new one?
Assuming you are not familiar, "rooted" also means 'Not functioning correctly'Assuming you are not familiar, 'rooted' is the Android equivalent of 'jail broken' for iDevices.
