Right now you can get 10% points back on Classic Awards^. Make as many Economy Classic Award bookings as like, with at least one Economy Qantas operated flight in each itinerary, before 31 July 2014 and we'll give you 10% of the points back on all eligible flights.
I think they meant to say "make as many bookings as you like".Proof readers luck out again? (bookings 'as like' - is that some street rap?)
Given virtually every international award has an economy flight regardless of class booked this should be easy to redeem.
That is hilarious.I was particularly impressed by this plural:
Itinerariesy’s that include a mix of Economy and Business flights will only have 10% points given back on Economy flights.
There will be one prize of 1,000,000 Qantas Points. The maximum notional value of the Prize is AU$22,755 as at 5 May 2014 based on a sample of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Awards that could be obtained by redeeming through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
From the T&Cs:
Interesting. So 1 Qantas Point = AU$0.022755. That's 2 cents.
That would be unimaginable because I don't think Qantas has a spare mil in actual dollars to just throw around. How much better does "One million points" (in a Dr Evil voice) sound than "$22 755 prize to be won!"
To give away "One million dollars!" it would have to be 43 946 385.4 points. That's nearly 44 million points. Imagine that.
This part of the fine print is just so intuitive:
The ability to redeem Qantas Points for taxes, fees and carrier charges for eligible travel entirely within Australia and selected international flights commencing in Australia is only available when booking at qantas.com and ‘Search Qantas & Partner Classic Awards’ is not ticked before searching for flights.
