Zero to OneWorld Emerald (QF Plat) in one trip to Europe - possible?

Possibly the easiest way to OWE is joining the BA Exec Club.Need an address in the UK.
Then a fare in F SYD-SIN(BA),SIN-LHR(QF or QR) and if you do either SIN-LHR or LHR-SIN on QR then the final SIN-SYD can be on QF rather than BA.
BA are strict on the 4 flight rule but 2 return intra Euroope flights in J and you would have enough tier points to get BA Gold(OWE).
Suggested BA on SYD-SIN as QF leaves SIN a little later than BA so time to transfer.
Probably best doing QR F LHR-DOH-SIN as a flight leaves LHR about 6 hours prior to either BA or QF but arrives in SIN about 2 hours before those direct flights.

Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Why is this beneficial?

Well, apart from the extra SCs and points ;), I detest what I call the 'nuisance-duration flight' across the Atlantic - too short to get much sleep and still enjoy the onboard F&B (obviously talking J or F here). I am a leisure-only traveller, so I have all the time in the world - and I like sitting in (the front of) aircraft.

Ah yes it a J/F inflight routine cannot be rushed :D

Typically it’s been rumoured to be (unofficially) offered to people from other airlines looking to “jump/ ship” who already have status on nonQF airlines. Seemed like to me they needed some kind of travel history first.
I doubt that if you never had recent status before that they will allow a “status challenge”.

Essentially the “Status challenge” is to get 1400SC

Just thought I'd update on this aspect - after approx 2 weeks without a word, had a call from QFF offering the Gold challenge - 200sc required within 90 days.

Asked about Platinum challenge instead, got a big Nope, and graciously accepted the gold challenge.

For what it's worth, I don't think I mentioned that I previously held QF gold 3-4 years ago, so not sure if that played into the favourable outcome here.

I still need to book these flights - and sadly don't have the time to use some of the great high SC earning, less direct routes suggested in this thread - so will be flying direct as possible in F and should earn approx 1200sc by my calcs.

Thanks so much to all for the great input on this thread - and I look forward to one day hopefully having the time to maxing out a DONEx or AONEx, which would be a truly epic adventure!

These are the transatlantic flights I've had since I started booking DONE3s.
JFK-CDG, JFK-FCO, ORD-AMM, MIA-BCN, ORD-DOH, MIA-ZRH, DFW-DOH, PHL-DOH (the MIA- flights were single flight numbers with a aircraft change in JFK). I assume the 7-8 hour flights to Western Europe are "nuisance-duration" and the 13-14 hours to AMM/DOH aren't?
