Yeah, 'cept I booked in January when a forum member advised me I could book a return flight from ONT Canada to TPA for under ~USD480 to earn 480 SC's. Once I determined this was ONT California ~95Km from LAX I was keen.

I had already booked the MEL-LAX with 388 both way - this was a perfect slot.

How does one get from LAX to ONT? Via DFW of course ...

Back OT - I'll report in July.

Thanks. Not much flyng in May and some of it has been shifted to Virgin (don't ask). I look forward to the weekly commute SYD-BNE to get QF Platinum status until May 2011....
