The fares were YUPs ex BOS; they are no longer being offered at the prices I paid. I am simply trying to avoid confusion with this.

My LT SG% this time last month was under 73% - I updated it last week.

I did ZIP around in discount WHY MEL-{}-BOS-{}-MEL - some 42 hours and 21,000 miles of it!

For status, Qantas rate First class travel at 6 x the rate for discount WHY, AAdvantage rate it at between 1½ and 3 times.

~ 2,000 SC would be 4 loyalty bonus' (20,000 points), which still leave 180,000 points for 44,000 miles flown.

Some of it would be premium cabin bonus.

Hopefully sr81 can reveal how this has been achieved.

I'd be very happy if I could double my points earning for the same # miles flown

opps, just did the old copy to excel and =sum(). I mistakenly included loyalty and a few thousand CC points. Serves me right for doing it whilst on the phone. Mea culpa.

I earnt 104,185 YTD and 85,366 MTD purely on seat miles.

I also flew a 20 segment DONE4 which was paid for on my QF AMEX card. That really helped the balance along.

As today is my anniversary date for both Velocity and QFF, following is my activity for the entire 12 months. QF comped me to Gold even though I was 105 SC's shy, and with my 2 flights yesterday I just attained Gold (top tier) in Velocity.
