Just Jane - a WW2 Lancaster Bomber that does Taxi runs around the airport.
Imagine the guys in WW2 flying them - most didnt even have a car back then.
As one vet told me...it would be like a present day 20 year old learning to fly the space shuttle but the Martians were shooting at you.

GREAT Thread OP! Only 3 pictures, that is hard. I will be back with more over time :)

ONE - My first plane wing shot. Coming into land in Vancouver January 1990 on a flight from Toronto. The logs in the Fraser River reminded me of "The Beachcombers"... I love the theme song :)

TWO - Why I always take a window seat, appropriately aligned for either sunrise or sunset. The one below was flying out of Hobart on the early morning flight. I have this printed and on my wall!

THREE - Plenty of number threes to upload, but I was impressed with the view of Mt Kinabalu on a flight from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan on an early morning flight.

I haven't prescribed a limit for this thread. ;)

Loved your sunrise shot - there's something quite special about watching a beautiful sunrise from the air, but my photos never seem to do it justice.

Really great sunrise (or sunset) shot. I’ve tried for years but never managed one as good as that

And a Qantas 747 at SCL - because there's no feeling quite like seeing a Qantas jumbo jet arrive to take you home when you've been away for a long time:

And a few of my favourite shots from out the window...
