Great opportunity, have sent a PM for a Sydney spot. I just happen to be transiting through Sydney on Monday morning, and the timing would suit nicely!
Fingers crossed.

Hold tight, I will sort through the entries tomorrow. Also, have to keep the suspense going.
Pleased you are all excited.

So has anyone had a PM back from Red Roo yet? ... or will we just have to wait until business hours tomorrow? :) Haha

Excited, is such an understatement right now.

Possibly followed by disappointment tomorrow.

Greg.

I'd actually PM'd Red Roo prior to this and asked what the chances were of seeing it in Darwin... Turns out its only refueling then moving on...

Good thing i'm in Brisbane for the 26th!!

Fingers crossed!

Not yet...

I posted mine just after 5.20,

So hope I am lucky and will post either way

Great offer Red Roo, even though I'm probably too late since today I was (ahem) distracted by another aviation story today...

Hope those people who do make it on board have a terrific time and bring back pictures for the rest of us.

Hey everyone,

I think that we have more than enough entries now. We will let you know by the end of tomorrow who has an invite. Thanks for all the quick responses though. Glad you are all so interested!

Cheers
Red Roo

I would like to congratulate you on your insightful comment. ;)

Anyway - good luck people! Sounds like good fun shall be had by the winners!

Damn, so annoyed I didn't spot this in time, I would have loved to go to the MEL "open plane". To make it worse, I was about to open up AFF at 5.30pm today to have a quick browse due to having a little bit of downtime at work, but then received a phone call and got sidetracked!!

Damn, I missed the boat (or plane) good luck to those who got I quick.

A good incentive to check AFF regularly 24/7 :)

According to this site it is overnighting so there might be a chance to have an unofficial look if you have airside access. I know when the A340 test aircraft was up here last year we jut went and said hi and got a tour.

I will try my luck with the 787
