you coming to the July 30 F Lounge run?

Hi all The other night I was chatting to Misha and was asked if I was going to be at the July 30 F Lounge run? Now as a some one who has not done frequent flyer Speek 101 and some times have to work through the code on this site can you tell me how or what is a f run and should I go My understanding is the f lounge is the international lounge and as much as it would be fun to take a trip OS just to get in to the lounge it would not happen or is there a first lounge I'm missing out on in the domestic lounge I always go to the business lounge there I think I'm starting to sound like kellsey Grammer in Fraser when he finds out theres levels in his exclusive club and he wants to get in only to fine that there is another door more exclusive Any how let me know and I can see if I can come play Wayne

JQ35 is an international flight with a domestic leg (SYD-MEL), departing from the International Terminal in Sydney -> F Lounge Access for eligible QFFers.

O.k so you fly up and then fly back via jq 35 I see would be good if you could fly up the same way I do however hate flying jq as there's no business class

I'm flying QF up on a JASA as the run falls during the double SC promotion.

I think I could hack economy on JQ following a few bevys in the FLounge - doesn't sound so bad in that context

Well as its JQi (International) so it does have Star Class

I did book a cheap (or expensive) star class for the run, that with a return JASA means i will start out with 80 status credits for my new year starting 1/7/11..

It wont now be my first trip for the new year, I need to get into Seattle now mid July..

Go on Wayne, book it, you will have a lot of fun..

StarClass was renamed Business and as it's an 'international' flight, that cabin is avaiable if you want it for ~$400.

Ok now I'm going to show my total ignorance I have looked on the jq site re booking a star class or business fare and can not find how you book jq 35 as I get older I feel I know a lot less than I did when I was 20 lol

The current gathering is planned around a weekend in SYD funnily enough.

JQ35 only shows when you use SYDNEY to MELBOURNE (Tullamarine) as your airports. $369 (non-flexible) or +$80 to get FF points/refundability.

You need to select Saturday 30 July on flights Sydney to Melbourne Tullamarine.

The 4th flight down the 15:00pm departure arriving at 16:30pm is the one you want, if you highlight the text is shows JQ35.

JQ35 doesn't run all days of the week.

The Jetstar site will show you a flight at 1500 on July 30, from SYD to MEL. This is the flight - the one with Business

Checkin should open at 12 so we'll be lining up around 11:30, but if you're in Business the line for you shall be much shorter!

And don't forget to use the jetstar price guarantee to price match tiger. In think my JQ35 flight for this weekend cost me $38

Misha and I will be stepping off an inbound flight at 11:35 so should be at Checkin sometime before 12:00...

I thought about coming along but two things stopped me.

1. I am unsociable.
2. My FF year ends on the 31st July and I'm keen to collect SC's from 1st August.
