Apologies in advance but I am still struggling to get my head around Virgin's rotating review date policy. I've looked up articles on various web sites but am still confused.

My partner's review date is in June. He expects to be Gold by August. Is his review date then reset? Does he then need another 1,000 SCs and 8 sectors to move up to Platinum or will a further 500 SCs and 4 sectors do it?

Thank you for your patience!

Think about it in two different ways:

For obtaining/upgrading a status on any given date:
Count all status credits and VA sectors flight segments within the last year.

For maintaining current status:
Count status credits and VA sectors since obtaining the status (and before the review date).

The review date does change to the day of obtaining the higher status, but this is only really relevant when trying to maintain your current status.

So, no - he will only need an additional 500 status credits and 4 additional sectors as long as the previous 500 status credits and sectors are still within the last year when reaching 1000.
