Hi Guys,

So I've been using YakPay for the last couple of months, ever since EBP increased their surcharge.

YakPay charges 1%+GST (1.1% incl GST) for Visa/MC payment for your suppliers so you can earn full FF points.
YakPay is part of Payment Logic and your login account can also be used on their system (if you wish to pay a supplier with your AMEX). The same payees will appear on both systems I'm told.

It is open to anyone with an ABN.
  • What it gets you: If you use my referral it benefits you in NO way, except knowing you've helped a fellow AFF member :)
  • What it gets me: It gets me "upto 0.1%" of the payments you make, as a "cash back".

At this stage they said there is no end date to the refer's (my) payment, however I personally feel they will clamp down maybe after a $ threshold or maybe a time threshold (3 months or similar).

thanks a lot to anyone who helps out :D

Done

Can you earn Kris Flyer Miles with St George Amplify......Asking for a friend who wants their Miles Using Yak and at what final cost?

How much evidence of an active business is required to sign up? I think we have an old ABN lying around from when Mrs Aus ATC did some multi-level marketing years ago. I would like use this (Yak Pay) to pay off a HECS debt and get some points in the process...

It's automated so shouldn't be an issue signing up with the old ABN

Check your bank transaction. When I did my first payment to Yak with CBA, despite using NPP/Osko, because the txn was over a certain arbitrary limit ($500 maybe?) They still enforced the 24 hour hold like a normal interbank transaction.

so Yakpay now have changed their referral program.

now its:

Exciting news, from 19th July 2021 any New Clients that you refer to Yak Pay will earn you 10,000 Reward Points, when they make $100,000 of credit card payments via our platform within the first 6 months from the day their account is approved.

Still no incentive for the new customer, only for the one referring

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Thanks mate!
I suggested they should look at rewarding the person using the referral somehow. Let's see
Agreed @daft009, I suggested same to the YP rep.

I used your referral and made a number of payments today. Mastercard seems the sweet spot for a rate of 0,8%. This gives an airline miles cost of 1.9c. Here are the calcs I did for a $50k payment I made today:
$50k x 0.8% = $400 fee
MC Points 1:1.25 = $50,400 x 1.25 = 63,000 pts
Conversion to Airline Miles 3:1 = 21,000 miles
Cost: $400 / 21,000 = 1.9c/mile

PLUS: RECEIVE BONUS QANTAS or VIRGIN MILES at 1:10 = 5,000 Qantas points

You can sign up using my referral code here.

Signed up with your code. Let's see how hard the ATO slams me in the next 6 months so I can get you your 10k 🤣

Here's mine if anyone's also feeling charitable:

Check your emails and online account in-case you have received this targeted offer to earn 25,000 Qantas points. Note, unless I am mistaken it is only when you make a payment by bank transfer.

Also I need to correct my earlier post which incorrectly stated earn for Qantas at 1 for every $10. It is in fact one point for every $4.

I got the offer, cost would be $500 for 50,000 points. Slightly below "market rate" but not spectacular.
