Just had a quick look on the VA source and noted that VH-XFA has basically been out of action since XFE came online full time.

The VA Source - Virgin Australia Jet Tracker

Seems to imply that they may either be retiring or refurbing the ex-Emirates birds?

Also means you currently have 3/4 chance of getting a new look a330 if flying them.

Anyone know any more?

Actually scrap that. Looks like she's back in action as of today.

XFA is scheduled for Maintenance and a Cabin refit next week. In Malaysia.

It's been at the John Holland hanger all week, as stated is heading to Sepang for a refit, when it comes back XFB will also do the run.

Which would indicate that these aircraft are here for the long haul.

Does anyone know if they refit the actual airbus interior to the new version?

It is good to hear the ex-EK birds will get a refurb. This means that once the refurb is complete, the J (and Y product I assume) will be consistent across the A330 fleet.

Highly dobut it. To refit the Airbus interior is time consuming and expensive.
