Anyone been to one of these timeshare presentations?

Still 90min + $30 = ~$200 airfare?

Shame about this though:

In order to activate your Gift Card, you, or if married or in a relationship, both parties must complete an informative timeshare sales presentation of approximately 90 minutes on the benefits of WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham - an innovative, affordable, flexible timeshare enjoyed by over 265,000 families worldwide.

try 90 mins presentation followed by 60 mins of hard sell. There is no way they will let you just walk out saying "no thanks" after the 90 min presentation. Not for this little black duck.

i was conned into something similar to this years ago

the deal itself sounded great (a free flight just for listening to a timeshare presentation) but the catch was that the free flight could only be used on 'applicable' days - which meant that it could not be used on any Friday, Saturday, Sunday, public holiday or during school holidays... it also had a 6 month expiry date

so in other words, it wasn't of much value, as all my weekly travel is paid for by work

its a con. dont waste your time.

Don't know about Wyndham but I went to a Trendwest timeshare presentation a couple of years ago. After sitting through the 90 minute presentation we were all taken aside and they started their hard sell. I said I am not interested and after a few minutes they realised that I was really not interested. I walked out of there with a digital camera. Not worth a lot but worth enough for me to attend the 90 minute presentation.

I would love to be selected to attend another timeshare presentation as long as there is a worthwhile prize at the end of it. And no accommodation for 1 week for 2 people where you have to purchase breakfast and dinner at the property is definitely not worth it....

I went to one maybe a year ago. Took the double pass to La Premiere with a $20 bar tab as my 'prize'
