Hi All

I have been WP for approx 18months and have only flown domestic flights in this time.

Next week I will be travelling through Singapore and was wondering what lounges I have access to? In particular my return flight leaves me with a 6hr layover.

Thanks

On what airline are you flying out of SIN? If QF you have access to all QF, OW and EK lounges (when they are open) and if EK you have acces to EK and QF lounges (when they are open).

Why not try them all? And then decide for yourself? But the new QF lounge gets good reviews as does the EK lounge as does the CX lounge.

If you don't want the hassle of 'trying them all' on one visit, which would rather defeat the purpose of lounges, then my suggestion would be :

If you don't mind a noisier, more ' Aussie' experience, go the QF lounge. However if you want to relax and chill for a bit, then it's the EK lounge. Both have good food and the usual shower etc amenities. EK also has Champagne and views over the Tarmac, which QF does not and its also closer to the QF departure gates.

Just arrived from the SIN lounges, here is my opinion, if you want a cultured and more civilized lounge try the BA lounge, there is less choice for everything, but appears to be quieter and more relaxed, if you want a little more atmosphere and choice of everything, try the QF lounge. Don't use the EK lounge as I seldom have a QF flight number.
BTW, are there any computers and printer in the QF lounge somewhere, if not, why not?

I was very impressed with new QF lounge. Good food excellent staff (better than any QF lounges I've been to) comfortable and lots of shower rooms. Even a kids corner for children.

I will be WP after a JASA flight to SIN in November, but during the November trip will be SG. I have another flight in April to SIN travelling in Y with wifey and 2 kids. Mrs is PS QP. What lounge access will my family be entitled to in SYD, BNE and SIN? (Route is SYD-BNE-SIN both directions.)

BTW, are there any computers and printer in the QF lounge somewhere, if not, why not?
No computer access in the Qantas lounge.

There is printer access if you have an Apple device.

Sorry but not really good enough.

And just as a comparison Bangkok Airways have 3+ desktops in their lounges that are free to use for anyone flying on their services. No status. None at all. Nil. And they have pastry, coffee, tee, orange juice etc. And their airfares are extremely cheap as well. And luggage allowance is 30 kgs for a member. And you are given a meal, tea service, coffee service, orange juice service, water service on a cheap BKK-CNX service as well.
