WP in-flight experience on-board Emirates

Recent Adelaide-Dubai-Milan and return in J on an EK flight as a Qantas codeshare. Got acknowledgement on most, if not all legs, (it's a bit of a blur sorry), as did SWMBO, who is a SG. But I can take that or leave it. Were given express passes.
Got access to First lounge(s) in Dubai, over and above the Business lounge(s) access that would have come with the ticket class. I deliberately say loungeS there....as I went on a big tour and visited 7 lounges: three (Emirates) First Lounges, three (Emirates) Business Lounges and a Diners Lounge. There was no problem with access. All very quick and easy and with a smile. The Emirates CSO signed the back of the boarding card each time and towards the end I was getting even bigger smiles as they worked out what was going on.
As a small aside the Milan (MXP) lounge is very nice as well, uncrowded at the time, and with direct access to the plane.
I'm off to continue searching to see if anyone else has done such a lounge tour of DXB. If not I'll write it up somewhere

Is this now an Emirates lounge? Went through MXP last year and EK used a third party lounge that was pretty mediocre and rather crowded

Hi PilbaraC.

Yes, it seems to be a new terminal offshoot. Far far away from the main drag. With several of its own (largely deserted) duty free shops. My wife, when enhancing her handbag collection found from the shop employee that it all opened two months ago. I'll get to and try to work out how to post some pics here

Edit to add: In the pictures above I have stood in one place and turned 90 degrees. Uncrowded, very comfy, good net access, plenty of food and drinks of all kinds
