Excellent, I was not sure if the last spot was filled by PF or CJEMNMAC (becaus PF was "I'm a starter for this I think")

My flights and accommodation are booked - into SYD 31/03 @ 14:40, staying at HI Potts Point, out of SYD 01/04 @ 14:50
 
Will keep an eye on the progress for Saturday; we have Amex flights we can use....
 
The only reason I can make this is because I'll be unemployed come 27 February. I wonder if there is a discount for us old folks?
I've booked a flight home, I suppose I should book a flight up.

Thanks BC. There's been no immediate takers for a Saturday version. But let's see. I'm heading to Melbourne Monday to Wednesday next week. I could always do an impromptu gathering for lunch or an evening meal.

Well, you snooze, you loose :( Where has this thread been all my life?

Would have been in like the proverbial, but well done to wozza for organising and lucky so-and-sos to the attendees.

Late Feb nor early May no good for me :(. Looks like I'm fated to stick to the Coolabah product ...

Sorry, RF. It would have been great to have you (and all the others that have missed out). Alas, there's a max number on the room and a max amount in the bottle that means 10 is the absolute max.

I'm flexible on a date later in the year. Suggest away if you (and others want).
 
Alas, I would really have liked to attend this.

I have only known Wozza for a short time, but we have certainly hit it off, and he knows how to put on a great party (wow, we do sound like 21 year olds!).

Unfortunately the "Frequent Flyer" bit of the AFFWLF (Australian Frequent Flyer Wine Lovers Forum) has gone in the way. As I posted up-thread, I am returning from Europe a few days after this, and it isn't really practical to alter my trip to return earlier and enable my attendance.

Thanks to Wozza for your generosity and friendship. Those attending are in for a treat. I will raise a stein / champagne glass in your honor from afar!

With Mr P definitely out (he was part of the group that cooked up this dinner with me), I now have a final list. The final 3 spots go to those that PMed me:

Princess Fiona. I am genuinely sorry. You are top of the reserve list. You never know - there may be a cancellation that works out with your plans, just before you fly out to Europe. I will keep you posted.

I'm still open to organising another night - wether in Feb, May or another time. It's been amazing gathering all these amazing wines from different sources. So I'd be happy to organise another one.

Booked my flight to SYD today.
Will be arriving on Tuesday, staying with friends at Rydalmere. Checking out of their place on Friday morning, i have some business in town then shacking up with Steady on Friday and flying to ADL together on Saturday.
