I'm currently sitting in the Red Carpet lounge at BOS, and am once again bored with the paltry selection of food, carrots, tomotoes, celery, cheese and crackers. And a pretty poor slection of cold drinks (no booze obviously).

US Airways is pretty bad, but amazingly have pretty good coffee machines (coffee addict, so the US is sheer hell for me), but the rest is average.

My favourite lounge is obviously the FCL in FRA, but airlines can do much better, and the Red Carpet Lounge in Melbourne is much better than here.

So what's your worst, and maybe your best as well?

Worst - BA (AF operated) at CDG. I left to find a bar that had cold beer.
Best - The Wing/The Pier, HKG
Very Good - SYD and MEL QF FLounge, ORD Flagship Lounge, BA FLounge LHR T1 (scores well for the scotch :) )

Best coffee - either Grinders Coffee at a dom QP or at the Bellevue Lounge at ZRH Terminal E

Worst coffee - NH lounge at ITM

Best lounge meals - FCT/FCL FRA, satay at SIN SKL F

Worst lounge meals - various US Airways Clubs

Best booze - FCT/FCL FRA or Krug and Dom Perignon at SIN SKL F (RIP ) or the World Wine Bar at some of the BA lounges

Worst booze - all the lounges in the world that don't provide booze

Worst food - BGI/LCA

Best - BBQ pork buns for breakfast in the Pier on my first flight in F out of HKG :)

Close seconds - SYD F breakfast of smokey bacon and organic eggs with Moet, and BA T1 F lounge with Bacon roll and Moet (seeing a theme?)

Emirates Business class lounge in Melb way better than Emirate First class lounge in Dubai.

And great swiss chocolates, even a week later LHR-HKG. ;) Good selection of nibblies as well. The BKK QF/BA J Lounge also made a great coffee and had a decent selection of food on offer.

Worst- not really a great sample size here to speak from but the new/temporary CNS QP at 5:30pm before the last flights.
