Worst (international) business class seats

But my top vote goes to Euro 'Business Class' that I experienced recently for the first time as I found cheap 'open jaw' J fares from MNL to Europe/UK.
Very poor standard, cold meal but no better than sitting in economy. Shadow next to me a slight bonus.

For every other intraEuropean journey I use very comfortable rail with a Global first class Eurailpass. Largely works extremely well, even though DB in Germany run late on some trips, though not badly on trains on which I've travelled. Way superior to the European airport and "J" class experience.

I think this thread basically excludes euro business which we all know would easily win this category if it was placed into the tier. In fact most narrow body J (regional) would be worse than most of these "worst" J seats in this thread.

I really dislike SQs 777 J seat. Very uncomfortable.
Number 2 on my worst list is the old EK 777s. Too many of them in a row and again just uncomfortable.

I agree with the SQ 777s. Worst flight from SIN to FRA.

Cathay regional in J is pretty garbage, as is much of TK's long haul. Check the a/c config before you book. Hint: avoid TK A330 or B777.

Unless you’re lucky enough to score one of TK’s a330s that were destined for Aeroflot… those come with individual suites and doors!

Urrgh! Yes! My bad. TK just swapped aircraft on me and I thought it was 330->330…but it’s 330->350!

The regional 777 was pretty good for Cathay. Yes it doesn't go full flat but there was so much actual leg room. I have a a330 regional J coming up in a couple of hours so I'll see but the 777 beats any narrow body J (including CX's own newish a321N design) that isn't a lieflat by quite a distance - and thats what its competition is.

And i haven't heard of CX switching out its long haul flights for a regional before.
