This is a case where that expression "don't be the smartest person the room" wouldn't make a difference. This is a nice demonstration of why I assume all people are idiots until they prove otherwise.
If that door was closest to the hazard, I imagine passengers would be ushered out alternative exits (i.e. away from danger).Question also why aren't they going out the closest door in that video?
Do dangers that cause a ‘plane on the ground to be evacuated always mean opening all doors & activating the chutes/slides etc? I would assume not, and in such a case, that unless there are stairs at an exit it won’t be opened … ?If that door was closest to the hazard, I imagine passengers would be ushered out alternative exits (i.e. away from danger).
Unclear what door thet was.. but the hazard from other videos appeared to be forward, with fire/smoke at the presumably overheated brakes in the front landing gear.If that door was closest to the hazard, I imagine passengers would be ushered out alternative exits (i.e. away from danger).
It’s a full-sized exit, with galley carts visible, so not an over wing exit. Looks like the rear exit, left side.Unclear what door thet was.. but the hazard from other videos appeared to be forward, with fire/smoke at the presumably overheated brakes in the front landing gear.
Possibly that's th overwing exit and they are pushing people forward.
The other poor behaviour video was taken of the rear exit.
But that's exit was definitely working from the initial videos. It’s a full-sized exit, with galley carts visible, so not an over wing exit. Looks like the rear exit, left side.
I think two separate incidents - one was a battery fire the other an issue with the plane itself. But that's exit was definitely working from the initial videos.

Ahh that's me to apologise then, I assumed it was from the recent event.Indeed, the reddit video from post 1 shows AA2045 from July 2024.
