World Airline Road Race

I was looking at a running forum (yes, I'm a forum tart. I also look at a knitting forum) and I came across the World Airline Road Race London 2010 Home Page

It's in September in London and appears to get competitors from around the world. The odd thing to me is it only has a 5km and a 10km race. No marathon. Sounds like a good excuse for a drinking session.

Ever heard/come-across "Hash House Harriers"?

The Constitution of the Hash House Harriers is recorded on a club registration card dated 1950:

* To promote physical fitness among our members
* To get rid of weekend hangovers
* To acquire a good thirst and to satisfy it in beer
* To persuade the older members that they are not as old as they feel

Ever heard/come-across "Hash House Harriers"?

I did one in Gove. At the end I had to drink this awful coughtail of everyone's drinks from a bedpan. I couldn't finish it so my boss happily chugged it down.
