Woolworths Member Prices and Points Boosters

Thanks for update! In store wifi (now at both WOW and COL locals) has been a very positive step from my perspective as both are underground. Used to be quite challenging using apps at the back of each store. Though guess wifi intro more for staff filling online orders. Same challenge receiving phone codes underground.
There are actually 3 networks available in most stores.
1 for store operations (work stations, RF devices, mobile markdown printers, and mobile registers)
1 for staff use (they are trying to get staff to sign on/off using an app by a Canadian company instead of the finger scanner and most staff who do use the app don't want to use their mobile data)
1 for customer use

The online pickers are using the store ops network on their RF devices.

electronic shelf labels were trialed in around 16 stores
Presumably makes Tue night a bit easier on staff.

My local Metro in inner Sydney got shifted over a few months ago.
On the whole I quite like it, though staff sometimes don't seem to refresh the codes when they restock products that had been marked out of stock.

And they do a poor job with the bargain/ run out shelf.

They did the ticketing changes on Wednesday morning. Starting 1 hour before the store opened. They just change over the special ends on Tuesday night. 1 person pulls the old promo tickets down on Tuesday night, then 3-7 (depending on store size) puts the new ones up on Wed morning.

With the ESL, they just need 1 person to change over the snap ons in the freezer.

Staff don't change the 'page' on the labels to show the "unavailable" screen. It is done automatically 4 times a day based on the count in the system. Staff can do it manually, but doing so stops the auto updates for that ticket.

Interestingly there's a lock that appears in app for me on the rewards app, recommends unlocking a couple of hours before my shop in order to be able to use the points. Don't think I've seen that before.
