Woolworths gift card thread

Went into two WW this week. Both displays specifically excluded the Him and Her card in the promo banner above all the gift cards (even though the catalogue said otherwise). It mentioned all the others with their pictures and the small print said "only pictured cards". I was tempted to get one and see if the displays were just wrong, but couldn't be bothered having to deal with a return if not.

Did anyone get a Him or Her card and bonus points?

Points earned show before payment is made at self checkout so you can test it that way too.

15% off iTunes/App Store Gift Cards ($30 minimum) from Wednesday the 19th of May.

Also 600 points for an Amaysim $30 Starter Pack (being sold for $9) for anyone so inclined.

From Wednesday May 26:

1,000 points for $50 Ultimate Home, Student, Kids or Teens Gift Cards. Also Swap Food Delivery, Adventure & Leisure, Celebration and Entertainment Gift Cards. Available on all denominations.

Good timing I need to buy some large items from both JB and TGG, hopefully will also get points on the larger $100 card.

From Wednesday June 9:

Buy a $50 Only 1 VISA or VISA Everywhere gift card and get 500 bonus points ($5.95 fee).

Note 1: “Offer available on all denominations”. So will get 1000 bonus points for a $100 card.

Note 2: "Presumably a clear mistake, but the catalogue advertisement states "Collect 1000 points to get $10 off a future shop"

Hi, Ralph. Can I get point if I buy $500 denomination? I forgot scan the card this week :( I'll feel heart attack if you said yes

I can't confirm either way. I've never seen the $500 denomination card.

I do note that the catalogue states 500 points for $50 card and 1000 points for the $100 card. But does not specifically mention the $500 card.

I also note that the catalogue states "offer available on all denominations of pictured gift cards."

From Wednesday June 30:

1,000 points for $50 Google Play, Netflix, The Her, The Him, The Teen, The Pub & Bar, The Restaurant and the Hotel & Holiday Gift Cards. Available on all denominations excluding variable loads.

The P&B/Restaurant are possibly my favourite cards at the moment. Offer came at a perfect time as I had just run out.
Has anyone seen $200 Restaurant cards at WW? I have seen them at Coles only.

I got 15 X 100 The Him cards, that I want to use to buy the oppo find x3 pro at JB HIFI. I then realized the phone is not available in store, so I have to buy it online. Problem: there is a 5 gift card limit redemption online. I read somewhere that you can combine gift cards by buying a larger one. So I swaped 5 The Him for 5 JB Hifi gift card, and tried to buy a 500 JB Hifi Gift card. 1 minute later I get an email from JB-HIFI that my purchase was canceled as it didn't pass their verification process. I tried with a smaller amount (200AUD), same problem.

Anyone experienced this in the past? Any advice? Maybe I should have give more time between swapping the TCN card for JB Hifi, and using it?

So I have 5 JB-HIFI Gift cards issued by TCN, and the 10 The HIM card, and I hope to get the phone while it's on sale for a few more days. I sent an email to the verification team. I plan to go to JB HIFI to see if I can buy the phone online but paying in-store, or if I can buy in store larger gift card with the JB HIFI + TCN cards I have.

Point collection can be complex and time consuming, but at least no issues with the 30,000 WR points that posted fine.

OT for that price why would you want that and not get a Samsung S21 range?

Yea I think they are all good phones, I could get an s21 instead. Dual sim is esim+nanosim instead of 2x nanosim which I prefer, and there is a 500 AUD price difference if I was to take the s21 ultra 256gb instead of the oppo findx3 pro. Ill go to jb hifi tomorrow to see what I can do.

Cranky old rant here but they should only call physical dual SIM phones like the Oppo and Redmi handsets. Not everyone is looking to put an eSIM with a physical SIM, especially if you travel a fair bit and have to mix your way through various SIM combinations. Dual SIM to me is a physical concept, not a virtual one, so it annoys me when I hear that Apple and Samsung phones are "Dual SIM" but they only have one SIM slot - It's the other slot that I'm buying a Dual SIM phone for.....

Buy online from HK...I bought a dual sim (with 2 physical SIM spaces) S21 earlier this year.
