Woolworths gift card thread

Hmm so the problems are with the Everyday Visa gift cards? Was looking to purchase some this weekend
The problems are with new "Only1 Visa".
If they have a red instruction to staff on the back they are the new ones.
Don't know if all new ones have problems.

Yes, problems with new ones at Coles last week. Staff member read and followed instructions, tried about 20 of them but none would activate. All new stock were removed from sale.

Hope yours work out.
The cards appear to have activated and I have activation slips, so the loss if WW don't honour their offer should be limited to not getting the bonus points.

But I've emailed them asking for the missing points to be credited.

I'll keep you posted.

When are we due for EFTPOS Gift Card Fee Free or points offer?
I just ran out of perfectgiftcards and chinese new year eftpos cards and need a restock!

5 x $100 Only 1 VISA cards purchased today. Exactly 5000 points awarded. No points awarded for the $5.95 fee. Seems rough, given the total purchase for any card is $105.95.

Points instantly transferred to my Qantas account.

I can report that I just bought a Petrol Everywhere, with the red tab covering the barcode, and:
  • checkout operator peeled it back and scanned successfully
  • I received 1000 Woolworths points
  • online balance check showed it successfully activated when I arrived home half an hour later
  • I successfully paid the Canberra merchant

Are these Only 1 VISA replacements or issued by another business? I assume can be used anywhere despite the suggestion of 'petrol' restricted?

None available at my local Woolworths.

The balance-check website has its own URL everywheregiftcards.com.au but it shows Only1 branding, at which point I resigned myself to failure with the Canberra merchant. But it went through, as mentioned.

There are several - Gaming Everywhere, Petrol Everywhere, Travel Everywhere - but as discussed I bought the Petrol Everywhere. I'm pretty sure they're just universal disposable Visa cards.

Thanks. Issued by Indue:

These may be a potential replacement to Only 1 VISA cards?

I used three different types of the “everywhere“ cards for Canberra without an issue. Thinking about grabbing some more before the promo runs out.

Any chance these have a PIN?
Costco now has a policy where it won't take EFTPOS gift cards or VISA gift cards without pin.

I also didn’t receive the bonus points for Only 1 cards I bought. These were the ones with the peel off tabs covering the number. After waiting a week for a resolution via online chat, I’ve been informed that the cards I purchased were not eligible for the bonus. Luckily I took a picture of the instore promotion which clearly includes a picture of the cards I purchased. I’ve emailed these to them and await their response.

Woolworths promptly credited the points after I emailed my receipt and photos.

Don't forget that if you're booking flights, Webjet has a "servicing fee" - Domestic $21.95, NZ/Pacific $24.95, International $32.95, and a "booking price guarantee" - "Domestic $12.95, NZ/Pacific $14.95, International $21.95"
