A recent article over on the other website about QF baggage allowances got me thinking
Why are garment bags so special to warrant their own additional carry-on allowance
Do they strictly have to be the loose full cover type? or what if I have a tri-fold garment bag that's not rigid? In which case, why isn't a duffel bag with only clothes passable as a "garment bag"?
To be fair, not many travelers use these anyhow, but I'm just wondering why it's a special exclusion with no guidance on what it means, whereas "personal item" seems to be more restrictive.
