Hi folks, managed to book CMB-SIN-CDG in J early next month with Velocity points. For the long leg on the 777, obviously the coveted row 11 seats are blocked for the time being and row 15 is completely greyed out. I selected 16K under the impression there'd be two windows at my seat, but from a bit of research online it seems a number of J window seats on this aircraft have their shades closed with a sign saying "not in use". The bulkhead rows seem to be unaffected.
Can anyone shed any light on the situation? If the bulkhead seats can't be selected even at 48 hrs out, is there a good row to pick where I'll have two windows to look out of? First world problems I know, but it is a day flight and I like the feeling of space when you have 2 windows to yourself.
