Will you still earn/retain Velocity status beyond 2025?

What impact will the Velocity changes have on your status beyond 2025?

FREE FOOD in BUSINESS CLASS?? Who'd have ever imagined such decadent luxury. :D

Economy class of course was what was actually bring discussed..

Next Virgin SYD-PER etc flight of 4 hours you take, even on a mega expensive Flex fare, and get none, reflect on this reality.

Virgin once had a sensible policy of free booze on evening flights - the nickel and dimers axed that tiny perk.
You hate Virgin… We get it.

Do you dispute my comment as being FACTUAL?

I've EARNED Virgin Platinum for 12 years straight, and have it for another year or so - have you?

I have every right to express my factual view re any merchant I deal with.

I see is YOUR last post on this thread stating flying Virgin economy is 'more luxurious' than Star Alliance carriers (all of which you clearly have never flown) which are allegedly all 'less safe'.

You went totally quiet when asked to PROVE such trolling nonsense.

Which IS to remind you -- showing near TWO THIRDS of the 100s of respondents here are jumping ship over these crazy changes.

Such a blowback result of a large 360 sample of once loyal clients would trigger panic stations into most sane companies, who are the junior player in their field.

We shall all see if they learn from client feedback, and actually listen before their market shares slides. This orgoing mess has made national mass media as we saw last week in The Weekend Australian etc.

Not related to the question, but to point out:
* Aegean Airlines
I guess you've not read the reviews on A3? I've flown them quite a lot, and they would blow VA out of the water. Chalk and cheese,

VA are fine as an Australian LCC, but that's all they are and aspire to.

Not a criticism of VA, just pointing out their preferred position in the market.

Wasn't the point of the post at the time. Supposedly to join the Star Alliance, you need a few widebodies, which clearly isn't the case with the mentioned airlines pointed out.

Also, as stated VA was never even interested in joining Star Alliance at all, even back when Borghetti was running the carrier.

Currently, with VA's 'preferred' market position as 'hybrid' LCC which is now part owned by Qatar Airways, I'd think any people's wishes of VA joining *A can be nailed shut for the foreseeable future (if ever).
