Why does Qantas keep changing our seat?

Qantas continues to do weird things.

Wife and daughter and myself arecreturning on QF24 BKK-SYD in 3 weeks. Separate award bookings.

Not sure why but 23JK are not showing on seat map. I allocated 45K for myself and requested bassinet for wife/daughter preferably 45G.

Check booking the other day and wife/daughter are in 23G. With me in 45K I wouldn't be able assist. Checked my booking for the hell of it to find I am in 23F. This is clearly not what I asked. I won't be sitting in 23F but even seated at 23G the bassinet is right in my face and I cannot get out of the seat.

The A330 is an awful aircraft. Now need to call and try get row 45 otherwise write off my flying experience for this flight.

I could be wrong but I believe some A330s don't have bassinets in row 45, hence the guarantee if you're in 23 that you will get one.

JohnK must be on a 333, as the 332’s don’t have a bassinet in Row 45 or in the middle section of row 23.

During the recent refurbs - Config changed from 30J 267Y to 28J 269Y.
Oh ok. I'll have to call again and try and get 45G and 45K allocated.

Or even try for 23G and either 24J or 24G but think these have already been allocated.
