Devonport is not a large place, nor does it have a large or gateway airport.
Its also rather close to Launceston which also has a Qantas Club.

So why does Devonport have a Qantas Club?

But also I go there.
It has twice as many QF flights as MCY.Which of course doesn't have a QP.

I hope you don't prefer that it didn't. Please don't give the company ideas!

Strictly speaking DPO doesn't have a Qantas Club, it has a regional lounge.

DPO is used by lots of business folk (SG, WP & WP1) and politicians (CL), (LST attracts tourists and those looking for cheap fares) I'm not suggesting other Q-Link ports aren't the same, but that's why I think we have a lounge.

I'm guessing, like LST, that booming Chinese investment might be helping, either directly or indirectly.

There has been one at DPO for a long time10+ I know of but probably much longer. (It was not just added recently when the terminal was upgraded)
