Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

So the old Citi website has closed.
So for those completed the mycard account online.
What is the process to compete?
What is this 2 step authorization?
Is it different to accessing Citi account?
All direct debit continue without updates?
Is there anything to be aware of other than a new ID number?

My CITI card via wallet did stop working 18th Nov for a few days, even though Citi customer service said nothing wrong with account/card, near the transfer dates. Still have Citi card showing in wallet and working. Once I get access to this mycard will the wallet card change to mycard?

Edit: Just looked at wallet details and in the back end says mycard!

Response i got, in which i replied - so in a stalemate
Please just stop contacting NAB.

It done mine, took like 5 minutes, including using KeePass to generate new password

Have you read your e-mail, dated 2025-11-24 with subject "The new MyCard App and MyCard Online are now live"? Your new ID is there.

This e-mail has a link to a specific migration page. Have you read that page? More specifically, on that page, under FAQ, in General tab, it has a question:

"Are there any changes to Easi-Pay or direct debits?"

Have you read the answer to this question?

But reading is hard. I'm Gen-Z and I haven't got the time to read anything. If the answer's not in the form of a Tiktok video, then it's not worth my time. Can't you just do all this for me?
This is actually not the worst. There is a washing machine forum and people are even worse, they haven't read any e-mail from Citi at all, not the last 6 months ...

I thought I would ask to see if it was simple process or completed easily by others before attempting.
Seems other than the new password and two txts for verification it happens smoothly.
Now I understand that we get an email and have go to mycard page to get the statement, as no longer attached to email.
Also if you have another Citi Free card attached to a Citi Free account for billing that is not the same as "an attached card" to your account?
Hence no new fee will be charged?

I don't seem to have received any bonus points for online payments as I used to before the transition.

Has anyone else?
I have received points for some, but only 1PPD instead of 2 as it should be, and was before. Another payment got zero points, and previously got 2PPD with Citi. Given how long ago they flagged this change, seems a bit of a shambles.

So I just completed the Mycard online ID Access.
I was able to use my existing password...told by family member would have to change.
Everything seems to be there except previous Bpay contacts I think I had?
Can't check as Citi closed :(
Yes you get asked for Txt code twice.
Now I received a Citi statement before the 24th and believe my bank will pay it(scheduled) as says Mycard under Bpay now with same reference card number.
Family member had statement after 24th and they had to change the reference number of card(different Mycard) for payment via bank?

If you had a card autopay, then Citi now NAB will take the money from your non NAB bank account.

If you want to manually pay your MyCard using BPay from another bank, then you should use the Bpay details in your MyCard account:
- log in on MyCard web site
- click on the card you want to check
- go Account Details on the left
- go Repayment Details
You will see "BPAY® details" here. Use these to pay from a normal bank accout.

I have just checked, the Biller code is still the same "49502, but the Bpay Reference is difference, so you need to use this new BPay reference to pay Mycard.

So even though the credit card statement before the 24th has the original reference number.....I need to change it to the new one for another bank scheduled payment of the statement in December?
That has not been made clear by NAB?

What you need to do has been made very clear.

That's what I understood OZ Mark no change for this statement to have payment clear as above. (existing reference)
For future statements Chicken is correct.(new reference number)

Your account is now sitting in a new system, with a new identifier. Do you want the new system to automatically swallow your money using the proper and current ID, which is what the computer is expecting? Or you want to use the old one, which is no longer the number the new computer is expecting, hence needing someone to convert it for you to the ID which the new computer is able to find, potentially delaying your payment?

Think about it. This is from a master data point of view 😉

so you need to use this new BPay reference to pay Mycard.
You don’t need to use the new reference but you can. The email says “However, if you use your previous BPAY customer reference number we will still continue to process your payments.”

Yes, for now.

And how long are you going to keep relying on someone to fix this for you, until they stop fixing it every time for you because they phase out this process, and you will be really in trouble?

You have to use the new BPay reference eventually, so why not update now and get it over and done with?

So I just checked via Mycard online my statement that came before the 24th Nov and it is the same as the one I received via Citi!
The reference number has not changed!
