Who else has to regularly chase up Qantas for points & status credits owed....

Can anyone explain this one. Two relatives received this response when making a claim for missing points:
"The claim you made for missing Qantas Points submitted on 07-Jun-2026 has been processed but was UNSUCCESSFUL - NO MATCH ON BOOKING NAME OR FLIGHT."
The claim is for an MH flight KUL to MEL which I thought earnt points and status credits on QF. The booking originated in IST on Turkish Airlines on 27 May with a connection in KUL. The claim matches the boarding pass for date (28 May) and flight number. There are code shares but the flight in the itinerary and boarding pass are MH.
Thanks

Did you book via MH or TK? Not necessarily determinative if the KUL-MEL flight was indeed marketed/operated by MH, but may be the source of the computer-says-no issue if booked via TK.

If it was ticketed by TK but booked as MH XYZ then that ought to be ok - subject to fare type and if that’s an eligible fare for earning with QF.

If it was booked as a TK codeshare operated by MH, then that would definitely be “Computer says ‘no’”.

The flight was MH129 economy. It was booked as a package deal through a travel agent. All on one booking but actually started with Thai leaving MEL.
I realise some travel agent / group booking deals can mean no status or points and this could be it, but the reason given on the email doesn't make sense.

Can you advise the flight number(s), cabin, route and and booked fare bucket. With that information earnings can be assessed.

I just pulled up the original itinerary and it does indeed say it is a TK flight. I just assumed they had an MH flight based on the boarding pass.
