Who else has to regularly chase up Qantas for points & status credits owed....

Still having a lot of trouble with BA flights crediting to QFF.
Just in the midst of chasing up the last two from June.
Submitted missing points claims in August, it’s now well over the 14 business days and so far crickets.
I have just sent an email to the P1 team to follow up including pics of my claims and the BPs.

I had to do this for the last lot of BA claims in April.
QFF service Centre are absolutely hopeless.

Same here for my BA flights in August - but I haven't been asked for my boarding passes even though I'd submitted a claim as soon as it allowed me to...

I haven’t been asked either. Just thought it best to send all the info to the P1 team chasing it up.

SYD+1 is up-to 14 odd email/webforms and 3 phone calls chasing 5 sectors (mix of IB, BA and QR from June thru Aug. The good news is that they’ve all been processed but of course those with activity in last member year had the SCs expire immediately with no rollover. Sigh…

QF have promised to process manually - still waiting…

My last lot credited in my new QFF year and were immediately expired and failed to add to my roll over.
I actually just gave up at that point and let it go. SYD+1 must have way more patience than me ☺️

In slightly good news, I've now had a BA flight from July credited after a phone call last week to follow up on why my online claims and emails from months ago (with requested boarding passes and proof of travel letters from BA) hadn't yet been reviewed. The agent seemed really helpful, asked only for the PNRs and then said he would submit them to be credited within 3 days.

The bad news is, only 1 of the 2 flights on that PNR was credited, and flights from other PNR's I quoted on the same call are still missing (BA flights from May and June).

Similar here from a BA flight in Europe last month. I did the missing points claim online, after only about a week got a response saying unsuccessful as already credited to Qantas or other airline FF account. Checked my QF and BA accounts - nada. Rang the service centre, guy was helpful as far as he could, asked that I send boarding pass and BA reservation to the FF email address. I have the boarding pass in my Apple Wallet, I discovered that when you open it up fully it shows which FF account the flight was to be credited to. Included a screen shot of that in my email. Also a screen shot of my BA account showing no transactions since February 2022.

Now waiting for their response.

This issue has been ongoing since the beginning of the year. I have 5 outstanding flight claims and had to do circa 15 further claims since Feb. I generally email the boarding passes immediately after the tracked flight claim is lodged and on all occasions I have had to call to follow up on multiple occasions with many failed promises.

Ironically, I had a BA flight on the 26/8 and hadnt got around to completing the flight claim and recieved the credits on the 05/9......

Hi

I am in the same situation now with BA! Two flights in August not shown, a missing points claim submitted but nothing asked for so far (not that BA how the fare code on itinerary). Obviously nothing from my Iberia earlier in the year has appeared. Totally ignored

Last 3 BA flights have actually appeared after about a week. Two of them were also rebookings following cancellations so hopefully going forward it’s less of a nightmare!

I think I'm down to just 2 BA flights missing from my account now, both from July.

But it's been a real saga having to continually chase Qantas to get all the missing points and status credits awarded.

So many emails that don't get answered, an online claims form that seems to do nothing, and phone calls with empty promises from agents that of course don't come through.

Just to follow up. I eventually got my points from the June flights.
Two emails to the VIP team to follow up.
First email with the BP attached they replied and said it would be 48 hours for them to credit.
10 days later nothing happened.
Second email the team replied that I needed to send them my BPs
So I did this again.
The flights were credited next day, then cancelled / deducted and then recredited again.

A day or so later I received emails that both points claims had been unsuccessful.
I so far still have the points and SC.
Another BA sector later next week.
Oh joy…….

Thanks for the other posts here. I will give a contact centre a call next week (my year ends end of November, and would quite like these to be carried over to next year!).

I do have some paper boarding passes still, but also one I have screenshotted from apple wallet. Some have the fare code. Unhelpfully, BA and IB do not have the fare code on itinerary, how have you dealt with this when QF query an eligible fare?

And finally, what is causing this and can anything be done at my end to reduce the missing points?

I also have my BA boarding pass in my Apple Wallet, if you hit the barcode it opens up and shows more detail, including which FF program the flight was meant to credit to. I sent QF a screenshot of that, as well as the first page of the boarding pass.

Guess I'll wait until 8 weeks after my flight?

Hi all,
Just to add to this thread I’m tearing my hair out trying to have credits applied for 2 BA flights in July and August. By a minor miracle I have boarding passes for both flights and a paper receipt from a heathrow ticket change which I have had to send on multiple occasions to QFF. QF have now somehow credited both flights as discount economy, but I upgraded both flights to business class by paying cash to make the fare change. The QF FF call centre have repeatedly tried to tell me these are classic upgrade rewards and aren’t eligible for points and status credits for business flights. I’ve read out the definition of what a classic upgrade reward is but they can’t seem to understand that these were paid with cash and don’t fit this definition and treatment under the QFF terms and conditions. Today I’ve asked BA for reissues of the ticket and letters confirming I’ve flown to see it that can help. I’ve also lodged complaints with QF as this is just ridiculous.
Any words of wisdom would be very much appreciated!

I've had similar challenges with a couple of mine, as it seems for manual claims they just assume it was Discount Economy instead of actually checking the fare class details. I resorted to emailing back a link to the 'Frequent Flyer Earn Categories' on the Qantas website and even took a screenshot highlighting where/how to find the correct category in the table!
