And here in lies the problem. From my experience it would appear the move was not automatic and was done by a person probably as a favour for some other traveller.I also think in the short term that they should stop bumping other pax just to saatisfy the person in front of them at the time. It makes me wonder if that cant see whether the pax allocated a seat has chosen it themselves, or had it auto-allocated?
I must admit I have not followed all of this thread but has there been any comment from the VA rep on this thread? It might be nice for our authenticated VA rep to comment on these seating issues.....

Not good either way for an allocated seat to disappear unless there has been a change of aircraft.

Happened to me twice last week. Moved from row 2 to row 1 (biz).
Row 1 has the same leg room as 17B and as a tall person that makes a huge difference. Personally if I can't get row 2, I'd prefer a downgrade to row 3 than move up to row 1.
So I take it from this that Row 2 (in Business) is the better row. There is nothing on Seat Guru to help me with this.
At 6' row 1 is fine for me.So I take it from this that Row 2 (in Business) is the better row. There is nothing on Seat Guru to help me with this.

T/T/R is, maybe, 6' 6" ...
Row two is my choice. (2C specifically.)
If we're ever on the same flight, you might.. accidently... be moved
Agree 2C is the best seat in the house.
