Olive Leaf extract, low dose aspirin, garlic and fish oil.

Haven't had as much as a sniffle in 3 years of averaging 50hrs a month in the air.

What does everyone else take?

I'd let the medical researchers know. They've been looking for this sort of thing for years.:rolleyes::mrgreen:

Vitamin D, because I have a deficiency in it. AFA voluntary ones go, I keep meaning to research and decide if/what would be beneficial.

At the moment, a liquid zinc supplement, magnesium (for restless legs), vitamin C 1000mg.

Blackmores mens multi when needed.

I usually take the following vitamins;
  • niacin,
  • riboflavin,
  • pyridoxine (B6),
  • folate (B9),
  • cobalamin (B12).

And the following minerals;
  • magnesium,
  • potassium,
  • silicon.
Thankfully they can usually be found globally in one liquid supplement, which reduces the need to carry around various packets of pills. :cool:

I have enough problems trying to remember to take all my normal medicine required daily.

Although I have just started taking fish cod oil but I have not been able to see any noticeable differences in what it is supposed to achieve.

In general most multis and vitamins taken are a waste of time unless they are dispensed / at a high enough dosage to make a difference. Just eat well is the best.

I take protein, for gym obviously - when I'm travelling light I usually throw it in a freezer bag which has created some interesting conversations with airport security for those who know what it resembles ;) ! A lot of the time I have really great weight lifting conversations with the guys especially the kiwis in AKL after they realsie what it really is hahah.

Sorry but I take nothing,am exposed to various bugs quite frequently but have way less infections than those I know that take various supplements to ward off said infections.

Yep, healthy living should (generally) counter the requirements for supplements.

I suspect its a case of the bugs taking one look at the golf shorts and running away to hide ;)

When travelling I like to take some Juniperus communis (in liquid form) mixed with other ingredients. For the ultimate in good health I combine this liquid with carbonated water & quinine.

fish oil 6g, glucosamine and CoQ10 daily
Multi vitamin B 2x weekly

Even the GPs now have a consensus that the glucosamine will delay arthritis... (I hope)
The fish oil seems to help with quite a number of interesting things...

Wandering as you get older needs all the help you can get.

Vitamin's D3 & K2 plus some minerals.

Greatest benefit is eliminating severe hayfever after 25 years.

One of my tips for good health too.

Combine with occassional vitamin sav blanc and you're good to go :)

Grape Extract. I like Penfolds, Seppelts and Tyrrells, just to mention a few.

However, most brands are acceptable.

Presently magnesium only due to an exercise induced injury, and the realisation that my diet was probably lacking in that respect. Ive now introduced more leafy greens into my diet, so I'll stop supplementing once the current bottle of pills empty.
