Hi , I am flyingin a couple of days into LAX on Air NZ into terminal 2 at approx 10.30 am and then not flying out until 11.30 pm on an American Airlines 1st class ( Qantas Awards) seat to Orlando from terminal 4.

Want to access a 1st class lounge for the day that has: 1. showers 2.Free wifi and free drinks and food would be nice too.

Can I access the AA lounge for free on the basis of my 1st class awards booking with AA which comes from Qantas?
Alternatively I have a Priority Pass card that will allow me into various lounges. Anyone know which one has the facilities I want, is the best and will allow access via Priority Pass if the AA lounge is not a go.?

Thanks , John.

What is your oneworld or QF FF status? Are you a Qantas Club member? Those things will determine whether you can access the AA T4 Admirals or Flagship Lounges.

Weirdly, just having an F ticket on AA will not get you access to a lounge. But status will, as will membership of the Qantas Club.

The T4 AA lounges are not bad, but don't expect much in the way of free food. You can buy food, however. Showers are available and quite good.

luckyjohn888,

Priority Pass don't have lounges in T4 but according to their website there's a ground-side Priority Pass lounge at TBIT which is a very short stroll around from T4. You could use this lounge prior to heading to T4 and clearing security for your flight.

Think I am just going to go with the Air Canada Maple Leaf lounge at terminal 2 which I have access to through my Priority pass card.
I presume I will be able to come out of terminal 2 when I arrive with AirNZ at 11 am and go to terminal 4 and check my bags curbside with AA for my 11.30pm flight and then go back to the Air Canada lounge which is airside at Terminal 2 and stay there until later in the evening before going back to terminal 4 say 90 mins before my AA 11.30 pm flight ?? Also I believe the shuttle terminal 2 to 4 and vice versa is avail and frequent ??

Thanks for any advice. John.

I don't think you can get back airside at T2 unless you're flying out of that terminal - the TSA check boarding passes at each security point. You'll have to chose a lounge that's ground side unless you're flying out of that terminal.
