Where's the cheese?

There's definitely no cheese in either the Sydney or Brisbane Qantas Clubs which I visit frequently. I'm pretty sure Canberra hasn't had it either but I've only been a few times in the last year. Also the last time I was at the Brisbane domestic business lounge there was no cheese.
There's definitely cheese in both Brisbane lounges in the evenings. They bring it out after 5:00pm. Not sure about Sydney as I'm not usually there that late but have been offered cheese plate on numerous occasions.

The rule is, if you want a cheese plate, just find an attendant and ask.

The plate I usually receive is ice-cold suggesting they have a whole fridge full, ready made!

Cheese plate on offer in CBR J island dining a week ago. I was also offered and accepted a cheese plate on Friday afternoon in the MEL J lounge - a Brie, a mild blue and a thick slice of Edam if I recall correctly.
Cheese plate also offered in the MEL F lounge last night. It may have been on the menu, can't recall unfortunately.

In Brisbane now and no cheese. An excessive amount of tim tams thought.

Oh I forgot. SYD Business lounge had mini Jarlsberg cheese last week.

Seen a full display cheese board in the Sydney Business lounge after 6pm numerous times this year. Plus cheese plates on occassion.

I suspect the key is in the timing.

Cold cheese is a great crime against good taste.

Did you check for "plate of the day"/"Island Dining"?
Comment was purely for research purposes. It would appear the cheese/gherkins/olives etc of an evening have been replaced with carrot/celery sticks and Homus dip.

The beef (or was that lamb) stew was excellent as usual. That was dinner sorted last night on arrival into BNE.
