Where the heck is Ko Tau?

Yep. Sorry I meant 250 baht each for total of 500. Blame jet lag.

We were only in Bangkok for the day really.

Now at the airport waiting for Bangkok Air flight to Samui at 9am.

McThai for breakfast as it was a 5.30am start.



I have the sea sickness tablets ready for the ferry.

Three girls with massive amounts of luggage came dashing to the counter saying their flight departed in 20 mins. Given everyone is told 2 hours at the terminal I thought they would be turned away but the way they ran from the counter suggests they were allowed on. Can't believe they made it in time as security queues were long.

I hate queues. And the queue for checkin this morning was out of sight. I'd checked in online the day before using the mobile so asked MrP to hold a place while I went for a walk. Sure enough there were three counters for online checkin. A quick hoy to MrP to come on down and we were done.

I don't understand why online checkin makes so much difference because the time at the counter seems about the same to me.

I was going to say that the Emirates service didn't sound like what you've had in the past. Hopefully the return flight will be up to scratch.
We stayed by river and that was good but I know very little about Bangkok areas to stay so probably we were lucky. Where's Crowne P?

Sea sick????

The Ferry from Samui to Koh Tau is known for producing sea sickness. Master P experienced it first hand this week and warned us.

Thank you to whomever recommended the Bangkok Air free lounge. (Hard to go back in the App). It's really nice and excellent wifi. I think most people don't know about it as it isn't particularly busy.







The airport itself has nice gardens.

The Crowne Plaza is in Lumpini Park which means - absolutely nothing to me.

All I know is that we are booked into the Club. Our flight doesn't leave until 7.30 pm so with the IC membership we have late checkout.

I hope the return Emirates flight service is better. It couldn't actually be worse for J class.

The free lounge has a cute kids area too and plenty of seating.









And a cute little butter cake just consumed to check for quality.

It did. Just landed in Koh Samui.

Hmm. This plane looks nice as we get on the bus.



But we keep on moving. MrP not a fan of the Hercules set up here.

Aint no illusion Dame! Barf bags are out but no one seems to be using them. . But we are starting to roll a bit now. . Stuck inside as it's very wet. But hey, mobile data is working and MrP is listening to the cricket. All good. So far....
