Where is currently best for *ONE* tickets?

With the AUD moving all over the place, I was wondering if anyone has recently assessed which countries are currently offering the best value for *ONE* tickets?

I don't believe a DONE3 is possible from anywhere in the southern hemisphere since there are no OneWorld flights directly between South America and Africa continents as defined by OneWorld. If including Africa, you have no choice but to also include Europe.

In which case I'd guess (based on my own calculations) the SA DONE3 price from Smithy789 is really a DONE4 and hence quiet competitive with S Korea.

Good question, serfty. I don't know - and would like to know. The fares are taken off the oneworld site, and converted from local currency into AUD using www.xe.com . I don't know if the oneworld site includes the 10% discount in its fare estimator. Of course, currency fluctuates all over the shop, and the xe rate is a mid-market rate not the rate you would actually get. Still a very useful guide though.

Any idea from others whether the fare estimator on oneworld includes tehe 10%?

The current fares published on the oneworld site (and GDS's) have the 10% incorporated.

e.g. a LLONE4 ex MEL was showing at $3,499 in January, it is now showing as $3,150, a $349 reduction.
