Burke and Wills most northernmost camp, after they agonisingly feel just short of crossing the continent.

Way back in my 20's with my ten girlfriend, now wife we roughly retraced the whole Burke and will route including the more famous "Dig Tree" to return to our home town of Melbourne

Prior to that we drove to the "Tip" as one of my grandmothers was born there after he gold prospecting father travelled across from PNG. One of her brothers dying on Thursday Island, and was buried in the cemetery there which we also visit. Nan as child travelled around Oz by Ox and Dray! And did she have some great stories to tell.
