ok, how many Velocity Points?
Unchanged. Altitude points convert 2:1 to FF points. So 1.5ppd on Black Amex and 0.625ppd on Black MC. (Same QF earns on Earth Black).
ok, how many Velocity Points?
I have a Visa and I got a letter... :|Spend between $5k and $10k a month but got letter and no mention of black.
Im hoping that's because we have Visa, not MC. If they don't offer black we will stop using card
What's the best option for bailing out in regard to shifting Altitude Reward points?
Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
Sweet - how do you know that?
For the record, there's a 15% transfer bonus on Velocity points running from 1 - 30 April.
Nice info, good pick up. Is it worth it though.
How many points for a gift card from Altitude vsVelocity. I think if cards is the constant to work out a value, not sure if it is worth it.
Slightly ot, maybe a new topic
I've just signed up for Black. Am I doing something wrong?
Uncapped
ATO
5 airlines
1.5 per dollar, true
(while also noting Cove isn't jumping ship yet!)
Amazed to see that WBC have an Altitude Business Card which allows upt to 20K pts per month, 20K signon and $0 annual fee first year, that would certainly be one option to swap to!Nope. It's annoying that Westpac have gone about it in this way, but it's still brilliant albeit $100pa dearer.

Maybe I'm reading wrong then, I see 2:1 for Amex and 1:! for the MC, is this wrong?Earn rates are worse though.
