With the stock market volatility there has been some margin calls being paid by sale of gold.

The real question is why are those currencies so weak. Both economies have issues (although different to each other)

We were 1.04 against the yen last year because of their economy issues AUD was

. Then Yen improved to .94. But see now it's excellent for Aussies travelling to Japan which we were doing last year.
